And
So this is Wycombe
And what have we done
The Causeway years over
Hard selling’s just begun
And so this is Wycombe
I hope you have fun
Day trips to MK Dons
“What’s done is done!”
{Refrain}
A very merry Christmas
And a happy New Year
The people have spoken
And there’s no more cheer
And so this is Wycombe Love is over
On the pitch we are strong Best team in years
Yet there in the boardroom Love is over
It’s all gone so wrong Now
And so happy Christmas Love is over
You light and dark blues Best team in years
I used to support you Love is over
Let's stop all the fight Now
{Refrain}
And so this is Wycombe Love is over
And what have we done Best team in years
The Causeway years over Love is over
Hard Selling’s just begun Now
And so happy Christmas Love is over
I hope you have fun Best team in years
Day trips to MK Dons Love is over
“What’s done is done!” Now
{Refrain}
all your dreams are made of strawberry lemonade
So this is Wycombe

Some days are just perfect. When you get the chance to sit in the living room all day to read (bits of) the Bible, Systematic Theology by Grudem, The Historical Reliability of the Gospels by Blomberg, The Great Commission by Dowsett and The Jesus Gospel by Golligher, undisturbed, and are able to pause and watch the clouds go by, that'd be it.
also it was made even better by Dave using his only free moment to call me, and scott sounding like he actually wants me to stay with him next week. woo!
this is the world the world

the way Arwen a) replies to a 3 day old text as if i'd just sent it b) calls me something different each time we speak. (by the way Ceryn, she implied she hadn't seen the sun in ages)
being glad to be back with my cool housemates who a) make me laugh b) give me pizza c) make me smoothies
John Owen making me look at Christ more.
CSI and Planet Earth.

someone at where my dad works telling me he was 'asleep on the couch' when i called. My dad's response 'well thats her sacked then'
scott mills playing 'still DRE' and reminding me what it was like to be 15 and hanging around Marlow with nothing to do but burn our shoelaces/handcuff people to benches (true story)
'Realising what the fans voted for last month is the bitterest taste of all, but events serve to draw you back in like a tractor beam from a device that I can assure you is fully operational. Like getting Oxford United in the FA Cup, a match-up so ripe that it should be shipped in wooden crates. Hearing their supporters already getting in their defence against the inevitable "you'll always be non-league" is amusing in the extreme.'
