My dad's birthday at the Crown in Pishill. If you can spare half a day to travel north of the Thames, are prepared to push deep into the disputed Oxon/Bucks borderlands, pass through places no longer under the jurisdiction of Westminster, and dodge the stags, it's well worth it.

Also sharing the vision of CUs at Farnham. CUs are cool.

293/365

Much pre game banter which helped me feel slightly less discombobulated post mission.
None of it would make any sense anywhere else, particularly:

'the mysterious thing is that i've never seen Coalville's results before or since that day. I think they were a made up team, with their balloons and machine guns'

'i'll be on the system, but on my terms.'

292/365

coming home early was the right thing to do.

there is no division between my all consuming desire to be satisfied and God's desire to be glorified. That's great news.

also reading 2 Chronicles 36 and being gutted by Judah, and gutted by me, and thankful for Jesus.

driving around Guildford with my sunroof open was cool.
the new leaders weekend was tremendous, great teaching from Mike Reeves, great times of fellowship with the surrey guys, and relay guys and the reading guys. blood red moons and bundling jamborees...'after you'.
I love the Gospel, i love when it's well taught, i love hanging out with Christians.
I love being in the front line, i love being ready to go again.
